For a vehicle of its size, the 2024 Kia Sorento has an exceptional amount of legroom, especially in the second row. The Kia Sorento is packed with user-friendly amenities from the front row to the back row, and visibility out the front and side windows is top-notch. The Sorento's climate control functions are easy to use, and its touchscreen set up allows for safe driving with a combination of touch panel controls and media controls.
The Kia Sorento's exterior has a sporty look but has some upscale and refined aesthetic elements. The Sorento has standard LED headlights with the base model, and alloy wheels are also standard. Larger wheels are added to the second trim level, which gains roof rails for additional storage space and an even more adventurous look. Some features include raised roof rails and glossy black larger wheels.
Several engines are available for the 2024 Kia Sorento to provide the power and towing capacity you need for daily driving, work, and road trips. The Kia Sorento's standard engine is a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with up to 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive comes with this engine, along with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A dual-clutch transmission has a stronger engine that powers the EX and up. This engine is a turbo four-cylinder with a maximum power output of 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is available on most trims and standard on the SX Prestige.
Every trim level has a long list of technology and desirable features for Cincinnati and Amelia drivers. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. The Sorento also comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. For sound, the base model has a six-speaker audio system. A wireless charging pad is added to the S trim and integrated navigation. A full digital instrument panel comes with the SX and up, while the top SX Prestige has a Bose sound system and a 115V power outlet.
All trim levels of the Kia Sorento are designed to keep you and your passengers safe with various advanced safety features. The Sorento has lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, rear automatic braking, rear cross-traffic warning, intersection collision avoidance, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control. Front and rear parking sensors are added with the S trim and up. With the EX, you'll get a lane-centering system, while the SX trim adds a blind-spot camera, enhanced forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera.
